Zeca Pagodinho is the leader of the Partido Alto, Brazilian Samba. Born and raised in the famous suburbs of Rio de Janeiro, he has had a 40-year career in which he has become Brazil's biggest samba star.
Winner of four Latin Grammy Awards, Zeca has recorded 15 albums (including his platinum debut album), 3 DVDs and has his own TV show.
His creative, joyful and metaphorical songs characterise the relaxed everyday life of the carioca from the Marvelous City, Rio de Janeiro.
On his 2023 tour, Zeca will bring the energy of samba to his shows, which promise a journey into the heart of Brazilian culture.
