Martinho da Vila returns to Barcelona. He is one of the biggest names in samba and a star of Brazilian music. At 87, he is full of energy and experiencing one of his best periods.
He was internationally recognized with the Latin Grammy Award for Musical Excellence in 2021 and honored by the samba school he loves, Vila Isabel.
The European tour, which will pass through different countries, will stop in Barcelona for a special night dedicated to lovers of Brazilian rhythm in a kind of Buena Vista Social Club of samba where he will play his greatest hits, such as "Casa de Bamba", "Devagar Devagarinho", "Canta Canta, Minha Gente", "Madalena do Jacu", "Disritmia" and "O Pequeno Burguês", among others, together with his band: Gabriel Aquino (guitar), Gabriel Policarpo and Bernardo Aguiar (percussion), João Rafael (bass), Alaan Monteiro (cavaquinho) and Maíra Freitas (piano).
