Carlos Ares

Carlos Ares was born on the Atlantic coast to make music in 1997. Since then he has dedicated himself to this task with diligence, will and talent. First for himself, in a stage already buried by the following -more fruitful- ones. Then, as a producer and composer for some of the most important artists of the new pop school that emerged to take a necessary relay that Carlos Ares himself has contributed to undertake. 

Finally, he returned to feeling like an artist by developing his own project, which crystallised in 2024 with ‘Peregrino’. His debut album was one of the sensations of the year for the specialised press in Spain and the material with which Carlos Ares has surprised the world with an exciting and lively live performance, where the songs that are born from his deep knowledge of the popular music of the last decades, passed through his own avant-garde and minimalist filter, are transformed into a sonorous party. High alternative pop, with a clear folk look that earned him the award for Best Pop Album at the last MIN Awards. In May 2025 he released his second album, ‘La Boca del Lobo’, a project that represents an evolution and a sum: more complex, more experimental, more complete. Carlos Ares, having found his voice, takes it to places he had not reached before. La Boca del Lobo' is an album that emerges sonically from the experience of his last tour and from his personal experience conceptually; a project with which he turns his tour into a project that is more complex, more experimental, more complete.
