RO.DI (Romantic Demon) is the new alter ego of Carles Caselles (formerly of Smoking Souls). In his solo debut, Primer Moviment (First Movement), Caselles explores a style of rock influenced by Anglo-Saxon post-punk—conceptual and free of labels. Under the premise of "love against the machine," RO.DI presents himself as a "tender terrorist": a masked character who fights against individualism and the system through collective care and radical tenderness. Freedom will be collective, or it will not be at all.
