Skinshape is the musical project of British composer and producer William Dorey. Inspired by the sound and essence of music from past decades, Skinshape fuses influences from funk, reggae, psychedelic rock, folk, African music and library music from the 60s and 70s, creating a warm, hypnotic and timeless sonic universe.
In addition to having been a founding member of the band Palace, Dorey has been running his own reggae record label, Horus Records, since 2014. On stage, a five-piece band brings Skinshape’s repertoire to life, performing both his most recent compositions and the songs that have defined his career.
