"Mind Enterprises is the aesthetic universe and dreamlike musical world of Turin-born producer Andrea Tirone. Born in 1985, Tirone draws inspiration from the effervescent, synth-driven Italo sound that defined an era; groovy disco basslines, hypnotic drum patterns, and cosmic keyboard odysseys that traverse continents. He also takes influence from his artist girlfriend’s bold figurative style and from his drummer Roberto, “who took a strange turn into fashion a few years ago.” “The result is usually fun, but I take it seriously. It’s about trying to lift people’s spirits.”Tirone views his growing collection of vintage synthesizers as a “color palette” or an orchestra of performers. “Each machine has a distinctive sound that is uniquely its own,” he says. Mind Enterprises has found fresh inspiration in his recent move to Barcelona and is focusing on composing a new album, while continuing to perform live and DJ across Europe."
