Oscar and the Wolf

“I think of my songs as Disney music for adults", Max Colombie once said about Oscar and the Wolf, the musical project he has been behind since 2010. Although, to be more precise, this Belgian artist doesn’t hide anything: his music puts emotions in the centre, uncompromisingly and freely. His speciality is expansive pop that fills any space in which it echoes, be it the bedroom of a tormented post-adolescent or a large festival full of interconnected strangers.

Wherever he performs, Oscar and the Wolf manages to generate a space that is somewhere between euphoria and vulnerability where epic synth anthems like Strange Entity and Angel Face find their raison d'être. A year after releasing TASTE, their fourth album, they will be performing on 22nd October at La (2) de Apolo in Barcelona.
