Pascual Cantero, known as Muerdo, is a Spanish singer, composer and poet born in 1988 in Molina de Segura, Murcia. His music fuses reggae, pop, folk, funk and hip-hop, with lyrics with a strong social and human charge. Two years later, he presented Tocando tierra, produced by Amparo Sánchez and featuring collaborations with Pedro Guerra and Lichis. In 2015, he released Viento sur, with El Kanka and Pascuala Ilabaca, consolidating his fusion of urban and folk genres. In 2018, he signed with Warner Music Spain and released La mano en el fuego, with guests such as LaMari (Chambao) and Carlos Tarque. That year he toured internationally and received the Best Album of the Year Award in Murcia. In 2019, he published his book La Primera Piedra. His evolution continued with La sangre del mundo (2021) and Sinvergüenza (2024), where he tackles issues such as digital superficiality and social manipulation.
