In essence, Lagartija Nick's career can be defined with Val del Omar's aphorism: “He who loves, burns. And he who burns, flies at the speed of light”. Antonio Arias' band has developed a career as brilliant as it has been reckless. They have embraced the extremes with passion and have pushed the accelerator against the wall to soar on impact. In 1991, the line-up, completed with drummer Eric Jiménez and guitarists Juan Codorniú and M.A.R. Pareja, laid the foundations of their language in Hipnosis. Electrified tension and futuristic atmospheres, from there they have developed an extensive discography until today. Lagartija Nick has approached without prejudice to other musical territories and their limitless curiosity has allowed them to work with the poetry of Lorca, Val del Omar or Buñel.
