Los Tekis (which means "boys" in Quichua) have been bringing the carnival of their homeland Jujuy (Argentina) everywhere they go for more than 30 years.
This Jujuy folklore group share their rhythms and focus on the music of Northwestern Argentina and Bolivia, such as carnavalitos, bailecitos, huaynos and taquiraris, using native instruments such as sikus, zampoñas, quenas and charangos.
Composed by Sebastián López on lead vocals, quena and charango, Juanjo Pestoni on drums, Mauro Coletti on winds and backing vocals, Walter Sader on guitar and PuccIo Ponce on bass, the Carnival that they transmit through their shows and songs is a millenary celebration that exists all over the world and in different regions of the country.
