Noise Pollution makes its debut at La Cinc in Sala Apolo alongside Apologia with an intimate evening focused on the sounds that define the label’s present. The music will move between house, garage, techno, and dub, alternating listening moments with others clearly aimed at the dance floor.
La Rage and Marta Mer, as guest DJs, bring two complementary approaches from electronic music and UK sounds, blending non-linear sets with club energy. The label’s residents, Cardona and DJ COLL, complete the session with a direct proposal based on groove and broken rhythms.
Lineup:
Cardona, DJ COLL, Marta Mer, La Rage
DJ COLL is a producer and DJ associated with Noise Pollution Recordings, where he develops a concept centered on club-oriented electronic music. His sound explores broken rhythms and structures inherited from UK garage, 2-step, and breakbeat, combined with a melodic and straightforward approach. He alternates his own productions with collaborations within the label’s environment, expanding a sonic palette designed for the dance floor and consistent with Noise Pollution’s identity.
Cardona is a DJ and producer linked to the Barcelona-based label Noise Pollution Recordings, which he co-founded. His practice is defined by an open vision of electronic music, both in the booth and in the studio, moving fluidly across diverse contexts. His sets and productions navigate between bass, house, garage, and techno, prioritizing energy, surprise, and dialogue with the dance floor.
Rage is an artist born in Marseille and based in Barcelona. Their interest focuses on hybrid sounds, cross-pollination of genres, and non-linear sets. They host Salt Water, a monthly show on dublab.cat that gives space to ambient and hip-hop labels exploring ideas such as borders, exchange, pain, and healing. In clubs, their proposal moves between bass, polyrhythms, and ambient techno, combining immersive listening moments with more rhythmic passages.
Marta Mer is a DJ and radio host based in Barcelona, with a debut tied to Berlin’s open-air rave scene. She is part of the collectives Planet Venus and SinSync, which promote intersectional feminism. Although her taste is broad, on the dance floor she leans toward breakbeat, UK garage, techno, jungle, and electronic music, building intense and energetic sessions. In recent years, she has established herself as a reference in Barcelona’s emerging scene, performing at numerous clubs, festivals, and local parties. Additionally, she co-founded the collective badlilyoung and hosts shows on dublab and RBL.
