AFERS Cycle with Maria Fort + Sei Selina in Barcelona - 27th February 2026
This event is part of the new Afers concert series, a meeting of worlds between a local artist and a European artist that takes place at La CINC in an intimate, intimate setting. This initiative brings together two artistic proposals that share a musical genre in one event, one Friday a month, with the aim of discovering emerging talent on the current music scene.
Singer, violinist, and composer, Maria Fort has emerged as one of the most promising voices on the Catalan scene thanks to her sensitivity, elegance, and expressiveness. With a warm, nuanced voice, she blends Mediterranean essence with delicate, honest pop, creating an emotional and cinematic universe.
Trained in classical violin at ESMUC and in jazz and modern music vocals at the Conservatori del Liceu, Maria has developed her own language through romantic and sophisticated lyrics that evoke feelings of melancholy, passion, desire, and solitude. Her style, which she defines as Aquarelle Pop, is a sensitive and ethereal pop that connects naturally and embraces influences from indie, alternative pop, urban music, and synth-pop.
With her lyrical, warm, and expressive voice and a rich palette of textures, Maria Fort creates an immersive atmosphere that invites you to feel every emotion.
Sei Selina 's show is supported by Liveurope and Nordisk Kulturfond the first pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to promote European emerging artists. Liveurope is co-founded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
Artist, singer, and songwriter based in Oslo, Sei Selina creates a unique sonic universe that blends intimacy with grandeur. With storytelling that strikes a nerve and captivating visuals, her music draws inspiration from soul, pop-rock, and folk, resulting in an elegant and emotional alt-pop sound.
Her debut came in 2022 with the EP Him or Her, a work that stood out for its rich textures and genre-crossing elements. The project earned international acclaim: she toured across Europe as a support act for AURORA, was praised by outlets such as CLASH Magazine and Vogue Music, and won a Norwegian Grammy for Best Music Video.
After that chapter, Sei Selina entered a transformative creative process that gave birth to her second EP, Consider Me Venus (2025). This project explores love through a raw search for safe harbor, expressed in a melancholic alt-pop format that fuses nostalgic 1960s choral melodies with acoustic and synth-driven production. Vulnerability turned into strength, with grit and authenticity.
Sei Selina challenges the pop scene with a vision that celebrates artistic freedom and leaves a lasting impression on every listener.
