Although her past as one of the twelve members (twelve!) of the successful South Korean pop girl group LOONA means that her solo career carries the K-pop label, the truth is that Yves has been shaping a universal musical language for almost two years. Hers is absolute and universal pop, without prefixes or suffixes. Catchy choruses that are understood in her native Busan, of course, but also all around the world.The definitive proof that her horizons extend far beyond her country's borders is the list of guest artists on Soft Error, the EP she released last summer. It's a short but eloquent list: both British artist PinkPantheress and Mexican artist Bratty collaborate on the EP. While LOONA remains on hiatus, Yves is forging her own musical connections.This new solo path is taking her on a European tour next spring, which will include shows in Barcelona and Madrid.
