Starterpack's Party

A project aimed at young people between 15 and 18, a meeting point that has been opened during 3 Fridays at the MACBA. The main idea of ​​the project is to generate a leisure space, exchange of ideas, affections and experiences, where to assert personal and group creativity, critical thinking and the ability of the participants to organize autonomously. After having worked in each session a series of activities around a different format (music, graphic, body, ...) to reflect and generate content on the concepts of identity and privilege, it is time for the party, which is in itself the final objective of the project. A party where you can share and exhibit the materials generated during the previous meetings: posters, fanzine, audiovisuals, songs, etc. These have sought recognition and respect for different social and cultural identities, their intersectionality and the analysis of the privileges that result from systematically or structurally favoring certain realities, especially in the context of leisure. 

The main motivation of the project is the creation of a safe space with a pedagogical and experimental purpose, with the ability to articulate according to the interests of the participants. In short, enable an educational space that makes it possible to put heterogeneous ideas and voices on the table. The intention is to work with curiosity, enthusiasm and shared concerns through a careful process, open to improvisation and the unexpected. The party will take place from 18 to 21 hours in La (3).

There will be music, projections and the presentation of the project as well as the fanzine and the song that the participants have created.
