Sarao Drag de Futuroa: vol. 18

We ain’t dead, we were just partying…

Drags and other monstrosities from Barcelona will arise from the underworld for another edition of Futuroa’s Sarao Drag on Saturday 25th of October! Surrounded by mustached castañas and pumpkins with endless eyelashes, we’ll be celebrating The Night of the Living Dead, or as we prefer to call it: ALL SAINTS.

We summon the presence of La Fanta Sih, last edition’s brilliant winner, to gag us again and pass the crown to a worthy heir. And for a witchy gathering like this, we’re so excited to finally welcome to our stage an essential name from Barcelona’s drag scene: Muerte a la Norma!

But let’s not forget Futuroa’s Sarao Drag is also a contest, so we need YOU! Want to be you? Write to us at somosfuturoa@gmail.com with the following information:

- Drag name and brief introduction
- What will your show consist of? Note: just tell us which discipline(s) (clown, stand-up comedy, lip-syncing, dancing, juggling, singing, etc.). Don't give us all the details, we like surprises!
- Photos, videos, and/or social media (only if you have them, it's not essential)

But if what you want is to win the People's Choice Award, the theme this time holds no secrets: SANT JORDI, whatever that means to you...

As always, the aggression prevention protocol will be very present at the party, and we’re open to suggestions to expand its inclusivity and learn from others’ experiences. So you know: RESPECT

An assault happens when a person feels assaulted. It’s our co-responsibility to stand up to assaults. If you are assaulted or you see an assault happen, find a member of Futuroa, they will stop the party and assist you.

If you don’t respect this party’s protocol, maybe this place is not for you. If you can’t be responsible for your behavior, you’ll be asked to leave.
