Santiago Motorizado is the leader, songwriter, and vocalist of El Mató a un Policía Motorizado, the band from La Plata that burst onto the Latin American scene to lead the new alternative rock movement of the 21st century.
After nearly two decades touring across the Americas and Europe — playing to packed venues and taking part in the world’s most important festivals — Santiago now expands his universe by unveiling his solo project. He explores new musical and aesthetic landscapes without leaving behind his signature style: songs with an epic spirit, grounded in friendship and heartfelt melodies.
In 2025, Santiago Motorizado releases El Retorno, his long-awaited solo debut. A deeply personal and unique work, and a true gem for fans of Santiago’s classic, nostalgic style.
The first singles from El Retorno paved the way for what was to come: a sublime melodic and instrumental richness, as heard in Google Maps, and the powerful mechanical groove of pop built on solid rock foundations, as in La Revolución.
