The Grammy-winning Mexican guitar duo, Rodrigo and Gabriela, are returning to Spain next year as part of their ‘OurHome Tour’.
They will be presenting their new album, OurHome, which is due for release on 18 September. It is a daring album that invites the audience to delve into a dreamlike universe of rebellious monsters, celestial birds, stardust, wild landscapes and the search for inner peace. We can already hear the single ‘Monster’ from this new album.
For over two decades, Rodrigo and Gabriela have taken the acoustic guitar into new territory, fusing classical music, rock, metal, cinematic atmospheres and spiritual exploration into a sound that is entirely their own.
On OurHome, the duo return to the beauty of acoustic instrumentation whilst expanding their universe with guests such as Marty Friedman and Hiromi. Live, Rodrigo’s dizzying solo lines and Gabriela’s hypnotic, powerful rhythms come together to create a thrilling journey of stillness, intensity and unstoppable momentum. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy two masters of music at their most adventurous, intimate and powerful.
