Oxido: Badder Den Dem + Regor + Hochi

On 5 December, from 7 p.m. to midnight, it's time to get down to business and get greasy: Oxido is back at Apolo's CINC.

An extra corrosive shift where sweat is the fuel, the bass is a piston, each body a cog and the dance floor a combustion engine.

Badder Den Dem is a sound engineer trained in workshops in Barcelona and on the British scene.

Her work combines the precision of dubstep with the power of drum “n” bass and jungle, always driven by the soundsystem engine. She has made the hardest sound systems on the local bass scene roar — Overtone, Garage Kidds, Big Kharma, La Kutlural, Subconscious, Drum & Babes — leaving behind a trail of smoke, bass and molten metal.

In every set, he mixes factory classics, archive rarities and new tools with the skill of someone who knows his craft. His machinery sounds heavy, deep and tuned to the bass.

Acid rhythms + corrosive bass = a job well done.

REGOR is the stage name of Roger Freedom, a veteran DJ with years of experience behind him.

In this new phase, he leaves mass production behind to focus on manual work: polished beats, fine gears and well-oiled rhythm.

His sessions weld House, UK Garage and Disco together with mechanical precision, generating constant energy on the groove assembly line. Each mix is calibrated to the millimetre: made with soul, class and working-class character.

REGOR doesn't improvise: he works the track like someone adjusting a machine to its limits.

HOCHI is a Catalan DJ and producer, specialising in open format and scratch, capable of combining clubbing energy with turntablism precision.

A resident at Clap Mataró, founder of Rodeo Club and head honcho at Óxido Club, he has rocked DJ booths such as Caníbal (Sala Apolo), Roto (Valencia), Menta (Castellón), La3 (Valencia), Tumbalá Party (Madrid) and Bass in the Park, among many others.

His sessions range from hip hop to the most corrosive electronica, combining bass, beats and fire on the dance floor. Hochi is the cog that makes the heavy machinery of the new scene roar.
