Primavera a la Ciutat: Molchat Doma + Crack Cloud + Calibro 35 + L'Éclair

Primavera a la ciutat: Molchat Doma + Crack Cloud + Calibro 35 + L'Éclair - 29th May 2023

Primavera a la Ciutat is the parallel and complementary festival of Primavera Sound. The 29th, 30th and 31rst of May and the 4th of June, assistants will have the opportunity to see artists who also perform at the festival or unique occasions to complete its musical offer at Sala Apolo and La (2).

Molchat Doma

Molchat Doma's music has the tension of one who distrusts vigilant authority and sounds like a clandestine concert, held in a basement lit by a flickering lightbulb.

With "Monument", their debut on Sacred Bones, the trio has boosted the new wave beat of their formula, but the aura remains faithful to the cravings of youngsters who want to break away from a concrete horizon.

Crack Cloud

Crack Cloud is a Canadian collective that not only limit their experience to music but also to design, audio-visual creation or constructive therapy to get off drugs.

At the core of this Vancouver-based creative cell are vocalist and drummer Zach Choy and keyboardist Mohammed Ali Sharar and spinning around them are a whole series of musicians-satellites who bring creativity and originality to a new-age post-punk.

Calibro 35

Since their eponymous 2008 debut, Calibro 35 career has been a tribute not only to Ennio Morricone,  but also to the golden age of Italian cinema.

That period of glory from the late sixties to the early eighties seduced them with soundtracks that could swing between exotic shrieking and unhinged funk is the style book that Calibro 35 adopt to create scores (some imaginary, some not) with which to dance through the years of exploitation and double bills.

L'Éclair

To describe what L'Éclair do, you have to use your imagination to invent alterations in space and time, but that's not a problem: the music of this sextet from Geneva naturally invites you to travel mentally, to let yourself be carried away by an infinite metronomic groove that shows the sunniest side of cosmic sounds.
