MIRA WEEK: MIRA x SYNCRA - VJAM
MIRA WEEK: MIRA x SYNCRA - VJAM in Barcelona - 3rd November 2026
The VJam is an open, collaborative gathering for Barcelona's live visuals community. The aim is to involve as many artists and collectives as possible—from clubs, festivals and the independent scene—and for the audience to be able to take part as well.
It is organised as a series of duels between two visualists, with conceptual challenges and a playful twist. The competition is purely symbolic: an excuse to share ways of working, with no scoring or knockout bracket, just the audience's applause and some symbolic prizes.
The Duels
Each duel pits two visualists against each other on the same music, in a split-screen format: each operates their own half and the audience sees how they work. The challenge is revealed on the spot.
Game Rules
There is no scoring or formal jury: each duel is decided by the audience's applause and the announcer proclaims the winner. The competition is an excuse to do a good job and have fun.
If you want to take part, you must fill in the FORM, deadline 20th October.
