Matthew Stephen Ward, artistically known as M. Ward, is an American composer and musician recognized for his talent in the alternative scene and in the combination of elements of folk, blues and country.
Now he comes to Barcelona to present his latest album "Think of Spring”, inspired in Billie Holiday, Ray Ellis, J. J. Johnson, John Fahey y Robert Johnson. The earnings will benefit Inner-City Arts & DonorsChoose through PLUS1 for Black Lives Fund.
With a very intimate and personal sound, M. Ward composes his own songs and reinterprets classics, turning them into works of art with a clear hallmark, inspiring the use of new performance and production methods to recreate sounds that are totally timeless and full of character.

POSTPONED CONCERT - NEW DATE 20/10/2022
Tickets already purchased for M. Ward concert in La (2) de Apolo on the 20th January 2022 will be valid for the new date, the 10th October de 2022.
The concert was postponed due to the restrictive measures announced by the Government of the Generalitat de Catalunya regarding the prevention of COVID-19.
