There was a time, back in the days of café shows, in which direct contact was fundamental in the consummation of cultural events. Artist and audience wanted (or rather had to) be close, to feel one another. To recover both that closeness and that feeling, Primavera Sound and Arte por Derecho promote the cycle A tu vera, a group of concerts scheduled between March and May 2021 so that the artist and the flamenco audience can bond again.
Hosted in the Sala Apolo adapted for a concert human-scale format the flamenco audience will look into each other's eyes in A tu vera with Duquende and his show "De Camarón a Lucía" (a maestro paying tribute to his teachers), with Lucía Fernanda’s uninhibited fusion, with the vital, deep-rooted flamenco song by Montse Cortés and La Fabi revealing their project “Cantaoras”, inspired by and paying homage to the songbook of Joan Manuel Serrat (Serrat Flamenc @ “Tributo ”) And with one of the brightest stars of the new constellation of this art: the flamenco singer Israel Fernández presenting his acclaimed album Amor with Diego del Morao.
