Joan Miquel Oliver is a founding member of the group Antònia Font, in which he participates as guitarist, composer and lyricist for all the songs and main producer. His work is considered by music critics to be the main contribution to the transformation of Catalan music that took place during the 2000s. Joan Miquel Oliver combines his work as a musician with the publication of several literary works.
Other notable works include the production of Jaume Sisa's album Ni cap ni peus (2008); the musical production of the TV3 programme Somiers (2008); the album Directe a París with Albert Pla (2011); and a tour with Col·lectiu Eternity, a musical group shared with Jaume Sisa and Quimi Portet (2014).
