The d&b Soundscape system is a sound technology that allows voices, music and sound effects to be positioned within a space, so that they appear to come from exactly where the action is taking place, rather than simply being perceived as sound emitted from the loudspeakers.
This capability enables the creation of more immersive and realistic experiences. When we talk about immersive sound, we are referring to an experience in which audio ceases to be something we simply listen to and instead becomes part of the space we inhabit. The audience feels as though they are inside the soundscape, with sounds that occupy the space, move through it and transform it naturally.
It is based on object-based audio; unlike traditional channel-based systems, object-based audio treats each sound source as an independent element. This allows for precise control over its position, movement and behaviour, adapts to any speaker configuration and ensures a faithful reproduction of the artistic intent.

Concert of Mouse On Mars Live!
Mouse on Mars & Lee “Scratch” Perry present Spatial, No Problem., the final official album project the Jamaican icon worked on before his passing. Conceived in Berlin alongside the pioneering German electronic duo, the record emerged from an unlikely yet visionary encounter: Perry wanted to explore new sonic territories beyond reggae and found the perfect collaborators in Mouse on Mars.
Recorded with a wide network of musicians and contributors, Spatial, No Problem. is a genre-defying collision of dub, electronic experimentation, free improvisation and futuristic imagination. Digital textures, surreal humour and Perry’s unmistakable voice come together to create a singular sonic universe.
More than an album, Spatial, No Problem. stands as the testament of a historic collaboration between two radically creative forces who viewed music as an infinite space for exploration.
