Kleber Gomes, better known as Criolo, debuted as an 11-year-old rapper in his hometown of São Paulo, where he also hosted Rinha dos MC's, an emblem of the battles of rhymes in the city. He has earned the respect and collaboration of Julieta Venegs, Caetano Veloso, Mulatu Astatke, Seu Jorge, Ana Moura, Ney Matogrosso, Gal Costa and Tom Ze. His career, apart from musical, has been extremely cinematographic.
