Documental: Gabbers!

A visceral journey into the heart of the gabber subculture that shook Rotterdam in the 1990s. Far from focusing solely on the roar of hardcore techno, this portrait shifts the spotlight to those who brought the movement to life: its followers. Through a collage of archival material —from a 1995 TV report to home videos shot by the gabbers themselves— and present-day interviews with its protagonists, the documentary traces the rise, explosion, and inevitable decline of a youth scene as radical as it was fleeting. Beyond tracksuits and the frenetic “hakken,” the film reveals the social dimension of an intense, almost utopian cultural phenomenon that left an indelible mark on an entire generation and whose influence still resonates today.

DJ Set: VTRX KDDO

Since 2022, Diana Milena Alape Bustos aka VTRX KDDO has been developing her career as an Industrial Hardcore Techno DJ in Medellín, performing at events alongside the Ballroom Medellín community and the Panterra Circus collective. In 2023, she began working with BTA Core, bringing Colombian Latin hardcore to Galicia, Spain, through self-managed raves.

In 2025, she takes part in events such as Gabbergirl Hardcore Night, Hardcodelia #74 alongside Unexist, and shares the stage in Barcelona with Deformer. She is currently based in Barcelona, where she collaborates with collectives like The Day of the Droids and KoolAndLethal, performing in clubs such as Razzmatazz and consolidating her international presence while developing her work as a producer.
