Banco Mediolanum Guitar BCN 2027: Sergio del Boccio
Concert of Sergio del Boccio in Barcelona - 26th February 2027
Sergio Del Boccio, a Venezuelan queer artist based in Barcelona, has burst onto the scene with a proposal of emotional, electronic, and deliberately theatrical pop, where vulnerability and epic grandeur coexist alongside a vocal performance of overwhelming intensity. His debut album, SUPERNOVAE, unfolds as a conceptual journey through the figure of an astronaut who leaves home to chase his own star. Caught between the momentum of takeoff and the vulnerability inherent in the loneliness of the voyage, his songs explore a poetic map of love, heartache, identity, and the relentless search for a place to return to.
After proving the strength of his project at Razzmatazz 3 and the Auditori del Liceu, and following a summer sharing festival lineups with international icons like Belle and Sebastian or Zucchero, Del Boccio arrives at La (2) de Apolo to consolidate a stage show defined by catharsis and drama. It is a constantly expanding sonic universe where electronics and live band instrumentation intertwine with vocal performance, bringing to life magnetic tracks such as Supernova, Funeral or Cicatrices.
