Turbo Team is the name that a series of late-night jokes somehow gave to the project formed by Alex Garcia, Brea, Luca Papaleo, Paco Cavaller, URI and Xama, six friends from Barcelona who see the art of DJing as a hobby but who, almost without trying, manage to get anyone in their path dancing. Unlike other collectives, what brings them together isn’t a shared passion for a particular genre or sound, but a common vision of what a party is and what should happen on the dancefloor.
Since they started playing at different venues and spaces across the city, they have chosen to give up any financial profit, donating the proceeds from their events to different charitable causes and extending the positive impact of their music beyond the dancefloor.
Following their first appearance at Apología on 21 March, Turbo Team returns on 28 November with Colombian selector MomaSé as special guest, alongside Alex Garcia, co-founder of Seguim Records, plus four-handed sets from Brea b2b Paco Cavaller and Luca Papaleo b2b URI.

URI’s sets are always packed with a wide range of genres, moving through breaks, electro, house and techno. Combining digital formats with vinyl, he creates eclectic, high-energy journeys designed to stir emotions, let the crowd get carried away and build a special connection with the dancefloor.

MomaSé
Cami Montañes, also known as MomaSé, is a Colombian DJ with a love for salsa and boleros. After spending a decade in New York, her sound became deeply influenced by the tribal, house-driven and darker sounds she discovered at warehouse raves in Bushwick and across the city.
Her hybrid sets create eclectic journeys where genre labels take a back seat, moving through Chicago house, deep and minimal house, acid house, progressive, breaks and even more techno-driven sounds. A free-flowing mix aimed at creating a sense of unity and power on the dancefloor.

Brea
Brea started playing bass at the age of 15, sparking a passion for music that has stayed with him ever since. Behind the decks, he blends different styles of electronic music, with a particular taste for darker sounds.
Paco Cavaller
After exploring almost every major genre of electronic music, from dancefloor-driven sounds to more contemplative territories, Paco Cavaller found the sound that truly resonated with him in the echoes of ’80s italo-disco and italo-house and ’90s trance, reimagined through contemporary club music.
Bold synth melodies, huge drops, indie dance sounds... Some call it italo-trance; others, retrofuturism; some even refer to it as Italo Body Music. Close friends from Turbo Team simply renamed it Italo Paco Music.

Based in Barcelona and driven by a shared passion for timeless sounds, Alex Garcia blends past and present through sets and productions that move naturally between house, electro and emotionally charged melodies. He is the co-founder of Seguim Records, a project that goes beyond being a label: a platform for community and curation, with eight acclaimed releases to date.
Beyond the studio, Seguim hosts regular events across various venues in Barcelona. As a DJ, Alex has performed at key spots on the local scene, including Les Enfants, Nitsa, Laut, Red58 and 30 Audiophile Bar.
