POLYGLOT is a Barcelona-based event series run by EYRA and MUCK, dedicated to connecting exceptional music with an open-minded community, free from pretension.
Founded three years ago, it has grown into a platform where the unexpected is part of the experience - placing music at the center while cultivating an atmosphere where audiences are invited to explore without knowing exactly what comes next.
The series brings together emerging local talent and international artists, with a strong commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices within the scene. Soso Tharpa
Soso Tharpa, born Michael Aniekwe, is a DJ and producer hailing from the heart of Washington, DC. With a deep love for all things music, Soso has quickly carved out a space for himself in the city's vibrant electronic and underground music scene. Known for his energetic sets and eclectic mix of genres, Soso blends influences from house, techno, Afrobeat, and experimental sounds to create a unique auditory experience.
Titi Calor
Initially conceived as the creative output for Barcelona-based music supervisor Anna Baqués, Titi Calor is now shorthand in the city for sweaty energetic sets that take in fresh club sounds from around the world, from Jersey club to Latin-rooted percussions and Brazilian funk mutations, each track pushing the dancefloor intensity while staying emotionally charged and creatively daring.
EYRA
Reflecting a creative evolution of over a decade, honed through the fundamental parties, labels and record shops of the 2010s. The UK-raised, Barcelona based artist, EYRA, has cultivated a style that plugs sound system pressure into worldly rhythms, pulsating house and mutant dancehall. Co-founder of the event series POLYGLOT, his diverse record crates are forward thinking, adventurous and inventive throughout, giving EYRA’s sets an edge that is quickly becoming a signature aesthetic.
His catalog includes releases on Accidental Meetings, Pressure Dome, Amity, Related Articles and more. With further music slated for release in 2025, EYRA’s productions are set to become a staple of many DJ’s collections.
muck
Barcelona-based muck cut his teeth on the scene as part of experimental synth duo avoidavoid and DJing across the city as part of local collective Abundance. Co-founder and resident of POLYGLOT, muck is driven by a deep fascination with designated-for-the-dance rhythm. Navigating selections from a wide range of musical styles and influences, he has quickly become known for his ability to shape dynamic genre-fluid sets in the context of the dancefloor.
