Distorted Barcelona is an international collective based in Barcelona. Our events are a creative laboratory exploring the intersection between sound experimentation and human connection through bass music sessions that embrace all its shades: jungle, footwork, dubstep, grime, UK garage and more. Each event is an immersive experience combining cutting-edge sound design, underground music and environments that invite genuine connection.
We explore how sonic environments affect social spaces, shape collective behaviors and reflect the cultural shifts of a world in constant transformation.

A.Fruit
A.Fruit is an artist, producer and DJ born and raised in Moscow in a Ukrainian family, since 2022 based in Barcelona. Releasing music and performing internationally for over a decade, she has carved out a distinct sonic space between footwork, jungle, IDM, UK dubstep, halfstep and halftime drum & bass, gravitating toward broken rhythms and sub-heavy basslines designed to fully resonate on a powerful sound system.
Her DJ sets move fluidly across the outer edges of bass music, blending unexpected selections with her own productions. A.Fruit is known worldwide for her original hybrid sound, often centered around the 160 BPM spectrum. Her music has been released on labels including YUKU, Cosmic Bridge, Med School, Hospital Records, Teklife, Hyperboloid, Worst Behavior Recs and many more.
Beyond her solo project, Anna works as a professional sound designer and audio engineer. She has created sound effects and music for video games (Gremlins, Inc., Sister of a Dragon), developed audio identities for brands, mixed and mastered hundreds of tracks for other artists, and collaborated with leading music technology companies such as Ableton and Native Instruments.

Cortical
Cortical creates experimental, energetic and noisy club music driven by heavy-hitting rhythms. The multidisciplinary duo Sevi Iko Dømochevsky and Daniel Benza crafts music designed to push the limits of sound systems and visuals that stretch the boundaries of imagination. Rebuilding the signature sounds of rave, drum and bass, and IDM for the modern era of hyperactivity, Cortical’s sound looks toward the future, taking club music into the unknown. They draw from the raw and powerful world of British dubstep and grime to create a cybernetic cacophony of explosive percussion and unruly synthesis, sounding like dance music emerging from the rubble of a near-future post-apocalyptic wasteland. Cortical’s monolithic tracks are only one part of their incredible shows: in a colorful and overwhelming symbiosis, their music merges with the accompanying visuals to immerse the audience in their sci-fi world of unimaginable maximalism.
Orieta Chrem
Orieta Chrem is a DJ, sound engineer and music producer from Lima, Peru, with more than twenty years of experience. A key figure in the Peruvian electronic scene, she has driven platforms that highlight local and Latin American talent, and she is the founder of LA RARA, a space dedicated to emerging artists and unconventional proposals. She was the first Peruvian to participate in Red Bull Music Academy (Rome, 2004) and has represented the country’s underground scene at international events such as Boiler Room.
With a solid international career, she has performed at iconic clubs and festivals such as Sónar Barcelona and Berghain, bringing her sound —a mix of global bass, reggaeton, dembow, footwork and techno— to cities around the world. She is also the founder of QMULUS SOUND, the first women-led sound studio in Lima, cementing her role as one of the most influential and versatile artists in the region.
DJ Dólares
DJ Dólares is a DJ and producer from Buenos Aires, currently based in Barcelona. A true genre anarchist, her eclectic and daring mixes blend styles such as techno, UK bass, juke, deconstructed club, hard drum, UKG and more.
Her sets are intense, fast-paced and richly textured, with a strong focus on bass and percussion — combining catchy elements with experimental edges to create a vibrant sonic landscape.

A resident at Distorted, she is actively involved in community radio platforms such as RBL Barcelona and dublab, and has played at booths including Keep Hush, Fuego Razzmatazz, No Tags, Neowarras, Sudar and more. In Buenos Aires she has performed at Lollapalooza Argentina, Fractura (alongside Partiboi69), Caza Beats, Neomarik, Camion Kids and others. Her tracks have been released on South American underground labels such as Muakk, Machete, Santa Sede and Visceral.
