Max Isla, known as Misla, is a Chilean DJ and producer from Santiago who is also based in Barcelona. His main influences come from producers in Ukraine and Romania, the early-2000s sound of Ricardo Villalobos, and his love for ’90s hip hop, which shaped his sampling technique. After completing his studies in musical composition and audio engineering, he created a new alias, Ramtun Productions, for his independent label Childhood Jams, released exclusively on Bandcamp. He is also part of the Chilean LIMS Collective, which organizes events in unique locations and supports the local DJ community. In 2024, he co-founded Disconnected alongside Chilean DJs and producers and friends from the Barcelona scene.
