Originally from Peru and now based in Barcelona, Mara Valenzuela —under her new alias Mama’s Gun— has crafted a vibrant musical identity that connects Afro-descendant roots with contemporary sounds from around the world. Her sets are characterized by a sonic journey that celebrates the African diaspora in all its forms: from R&B, hip hop, soul, jazz, and afrobeat, to Afro-Peruvian festivities and Caribbean rhythms like soca, dancehall, dembow, and salsa —without leaving behind electronic sounds such as house, garage, or UK Funky.
Djane Karma, creator of challenging rhythmic atmospheres that take you on a journey without leaving the dance floor, across the suburbs of the global south. Her sessions resonate with the sounds of South Africa, Angola, Colombia, Brazil, Cape Verde, Ethiopia, Nigeria, and Cuba —from their diasporas to their most current sonic transformations. An eclectic and vibrant musical adventure, deeply connected to the earth and the pulsating sound of the drum.
The Brazilian-Venezuelan duo (Arrebolab - La Sardina) stands out for its vibrant energy and rich fusion of sounds, styles, and rhythms rooted in diverse traditions. Their essence unfolds through the beats of Dub/Reggae, Dembow, UK, Drum & Bass, Baile Funk, Jungle, and Kuduro, creating a powerful and contagious sonic experience. For this edition, we’ll have half of the duo: La Sardina will be in charge of the session.
Trivnv (Triana), a Barcelona-based DJ, explores the intersection between global club sounds, the Afro-diaspora, and contemporary UK culture. His approach blends the energy of UK club music —grime, UK funky, garage, or bass— with Afro-Caribbean and global rhythms —baile funk, gqom, amapiano— crafting a rhythmic narrative that transcends labels and borders. Trivnv represents an open-minded approach to the dance floor: global, hybrid, and deeply connected to the roots of dance music. Packed with edits, style shifts, and BPM variations, his sets become a dancefloor bomb.
