The national alternative scene is in luck, because one of its historic bands is back. The Madrid-based Nudozurdo, authors of several of the most emblematic albums of the post-punk and new-wave sound of the 2000s such as “Tara Motor Hembra” (Escaparate, 2011) or “Sintética” (Everlasting Records, 2008), materialized their meeting this Tuesday, November 14 with a surprise event at the El Sol Venue in Madrid. After sounding all the alarms through the reactivation of their social networks, the band held their first show after their dissolution in 2018.
The band, founded in 2002 by Leopoldo Mateos, the only remaining member of the original lineup, announced six years ago its separation after having "completely emptied itself."
Now, Nudozurdo returns to action with a new song, 'Angel Genetics', in which the presence of his post-punk references is still evident, starring his long instrumental developments and Mateos' downcast voice. This new foray into the Nudozurdo music scene is carried out by the Madrid label Sonido Muchacho.
